First, the mail function check:
Log in to the server through SSH and check whether the mail function is normal:
The above picture is displayed, indicating that the mail function is normal.
Tip: If the mail function is abnormal, please contact our technical staff for inspection.
Second, VOS client settings
SMTP configuration: In the VOS client interface, click: <System Management> → <System Parameters>, please refer to the following figure for parameters:
Tip: “SMTP local domain name” parameters can refer to the file: /etc/hosts
Third, configure the automatic delivery of report mail:
Step 1: On the VOS client interface, click: <System Management> → <System Parameters> to automatically generate the income detail report: Open
Tip: The report will be generated around 1 am every day, so today’s report can be queried the next day.
Step 2: On the VOS client interface, click: <System> → <Account Management> → select an account and click the “Edit” button of <Supplement Settings>.
Click the “Email” menu and select “Send Report Method: Daily, Weekly or Monthly” to fill in the recipient’s email address. Click “OK” and click “Apply”.
Tip: If you choose to send the report mode as “Weekly”, you can specify the day of the week to send in <System Parameters>. After the above configuration is complete, you can click “Send Now” to test whether the function is normal. If you are unable to receive the email, please contact our technical staff.

Fourth, configure the automatic sending of alarm emails:
Step 1: On the VOS client interface, click: <System Management> → <System Parameters>, Email Alert: On
Step 2: Fill in the “Alert Email Address”
Optional parameters: Email alert buffer delay (seconds) 0-7200: Unit: second. The interval at which emails are sent if email notifications are enabled when alarms occur continuously.
Step 3: Take the account balance alarm as an example. On the VOS client interface, click: <Alarm Management> → <Alarm Settings> → <Account Balance Alarm>
Click “Add”, fill in the “Account Number”, “Alarm Level”, “Lower Threshold”, and “Mail Alert” to select “Default”. If the <System Parameter> is filled in the alarm email address, here “E-mail “You can leave it blank.”
Hint: “Lower threshold” means: When the “current balance” value of the account is less than this value, the account balance alarm will be triggered. Other alarm setting methods are similar. After the setting is completed, you can simulate the triggering of the alarm and check whether the alarm email is received. If you are unable to receive the email, please contact our technical staff.
